BEFORE YOU ADD IT

What to watch out for

LENGTH

Keep it under five minutes

Long Looms do not get watched. We chapter anything longer.

ACCESS

Workspace links expire

We export the handover library to your drive.

DECISIONS

Record the decision

A Loom explains; the decision still goes in writing.

05

Loom in our process

Loom is how we communicate with clients between calls. The free store audit is a Loom, the weekly update is a Loom, and most design and QA feedback goes out as a short screen recording rather than a document nobody reads.

A recording beats a meeting for anything that has a screen in it: walking through a staging theme, explaining a GA4 report, showing why a page is slow, or reviewing a flow in Klaviyo. Clients watch it when they have time, reply in the Slack channel, and the recording stays searchable in the project. It also means a team in three time zones can review the same explanation without scheduling across all of them.

We keep them short — five minutes, one topic — and link them from the task they belong to. Clients who adopt the same habit for their own feedback tend to get faster turnaround, because a 90-second recording of a problem is clearer than three paragraphs describing it.

Questions about Loom

Book a call and let’s talk.

Book a call
Is the free audit really a video?

Yes. The free store audit is a three-minute Loom from a senior, covering the first three things to fix on your store, so you can watch it when you have time.

Can we reply with a Loom?

Yes, and it helps. A 90-second recording of a problem is clearer than three paragraphs, and clients who adopt the habit tend to get faster turnaround. Reply in the Slack channel.

Do we get the handover videos?

Yes. The handover library is how-to videos for your team on editing sections, launching products and running flows. Workspace links expire, so we export the library to your drive.

Do you still do calls?

Yes, where a call is the better tool. A recording beats a meeting for anything with a screen in it, but decisions still go in writing.
