COMMERCE
Framer is not a store
Carts, accounts and checkout stay on Shopify.

Framer with Shopify
Framer is a visual site builder designers love, and it is a good home for a brand's marketing site or landing pages when the store itself runs on Shopify. The two connect through links, embeds and a shared domain strategy rather than a deep integration.
We set Framer up on a subdomain or a path alongside the Shopify store, keep the navigation and design system consistent across both, and use Shopify's Buy Button or direct product links so a Framer landing page can sell without rebuilding checkout. Analytics run across both through GTM and GA4 with cross-domain tracking so a session that starts on the Framer page and buys on Shopify is counted once.
What Framer should not do is host the catalog. Product pages, collections and cart belong in Shopify for SEO, inventory and checkout reasons. Framer is for the campaign page, the brand story and the launch microsite — the pages that change every month and want a designer's hands on them.
Can Framer sell products?
Framer is not a store. A Framer page can sell through Shopify Buy Buttons or direct product links into Shopify checkout, while carts, accounts and checkout stay on Shopify.
Framer or Webflow?
Framer suits campaign pages and brand sites that change every month and want a designer's hands on them. Its CMS is limited, so large bodies of content belong in a real CMS. We help you choose.
Can the Framer site live at /blog on our Shopify domain?
A subpath needs a reverse proxy, while a subdomain is simpler but splits authority. We decide the domain plan before the build and keep navigation consistent across both.
Does Framer hurt SEO?
Not by itself, but the domain split matters: a subdomain splits authority, and a subpath needs a reverse proxy. Product pages, collections and cart stay in Shopify, and cross-domain GA4 keeps tracking whole.
