About The Company
Abby is an Oregon-based award-winning wedding photographer. She specializes in wedding, portrait, and family photography. Abby’s images are creative, natural, and beautiful. Her goal is to capture the unique beauty in every subject she photographs. Abby’s images have won numerous awards for her work. Her work is the art of nature, timeless, selfless pictures that compliment the light. She loves capturing the laughter, the tears, and all of the emotion in between. Abby’s images have a story to tell, and she wants to share them with the world. Abby has been photographing weddings for over 10 years. She has a true passion for photography and loves capturing beautiful images that tell a story. Abby loves photography because it allows her to capture fleeting moments and preserve them for eternity. She feels incredibly lucky to be able to do what she loves for a living. When she’s not behind the camera, Abby enjoys spending time with her team members, Joie, and Katie.
The Brief
As a wedding photographer, she wanted to showcase her work on the website. We started by creating a portfolio of her best wedding photographs. We also set up a page on the website that listed her services and provided pricing information. Lastly, we created a blog to share her latest work with potential clients. The experts at Creatives Lab helped her to create a stunning website that was not only visually appealing but also helped her business get the right kind of exposure.
Process
When it comes to award-winning Fine Art wedding photographers, we had to make something that wasn’t only visually appealing but also catered to her skills. As a wedding photographer, you need to have a website that showcases your work in the best light possible. The team at Creatives Lab had the exact vision for her website that would please her ideas.
We started by providing minimal fonts and colors, white with mauve. This would give her the ability to showcase her work in an elegant and timeless way.
With a modern website design, we were able to also create an easy-to-use back-end that would allow her to update her website as needed. We chose to showcase her work as a Fine Art Wedding Photographer first and foremost on the homepage, with an image gallery that spans the entire width of the screen. This allows visitors to see her work as soon as they land on the site and immediately gets them excited for what she has to offer. We also included a section on the homepage that highlights some of her awards and kind words, which helps to build trust with potential clients.
